Augoeides, a short introduction

Augoeides gets mentioned for the first time in Laurencys esoteric books. In Baileys and Blavatskys work there are only hints about his existence, since the knowledge about A was not yet authorized by the Hierarchy to be released at the time these books were written.

The following is a short summarization of how Augoeides is described by Laurency:

Augoeides is a deva (an angel, an essential self) who assists man in his development. The essential world, A:s true home place is found above the causal. A:s contribution is to hand over his causal body to the animal who is to become a man, and then follow him all the way until his last incarnation as human. If we consider the time frame (millions of years), and how we humans can behave, especially on lower levels of development, we might get a hint of the sacrifice being made.

Every time a man is going to incarnate he gets a part of his causal envelope, a new mental and astral body is produced and he is then placed into a babies body at the moment of birth. The rest of mans causal envelope stays in the causal world and is guarded there by our A.

As the physical body dies, man leaves the physical world to continue his existence on astral level for some time until also the astral body dies and dissolves. Man then continues in his mental body on mental level until finally also the mental body is finished and man reunites with the rest of the causal body waiting on the causal level.

On mans lower development levels, Augoeides work is mostly to plan the incarnations of his protégé, connect the non physical bodies with the physical at birth, and then release them again at physical death. During the incarnation A supervises that mans life proceeds according to the laws of reaping and destiny.

As man reaches the higher emotional levels or more, and with that seriously starts searching for his own spiritual growth, A will meet him and help finding the right way the best he can. Anyone who turns to A and asks for help will get it, as long as it is within the persons karma, life tasks and doesn´t brake any laws of life. All prayers, regardless to who we address them, goes to our Augoeides. Anyone who shows a true will to develop, to "walk the path", can count on help and support from A.

Seen from mans perspective A can be regarded as the highest being most of us can hope to get in contact with. Religious people on the emotional levels who meet their A can be convinced they have met God, or possibly Jesus. (Actually they can have that conviction even after seeing a discarnated man on lower astral. Authors remark)

The following observations about contact with Augoeides is built on own experience and how I have interpreted intuitively transformed information:

A will contact us in two ways, by astral images on higher astral levels and by mental intuition on higher mental. From here we can also get mental clairvoyance.

The images from A on astral level are basically symbolic pictures and also dreams, about oneself. These images and dreams aim to lead forward in the development situation the person is right now. Astral images of other kinds, as visits by relatives, advisors and so on is something completely different and usually from lower astral levels. A:s messages are tough, sometimes difficult symbols that request the utmost effort and striving. If one "behaves badly" A will give powerful warnings.

A man who has clairvoyance on the astral plane should, as I see it, always strive to find the signals from A, and better this channel.

A can transform causal ideas from the causal level to higher mental, which acts as a "bridge" to man. (Providing he has reached subjective consciousness on higher mental levels.) Here the idea can be formed to a thought that we can reach, something that can take longer or shorter time, depending on how developed the channel might be. Sometimes you can meditate on a question and several weeks later the answer is in your head without any knowing how it got there, you just know. Sometimes the answer might come as a faint intuitive thought directly when the question is asked.

The mental images are different from the astral in clarity. Astral images are usually seen as passing, fast pictures which are easiest to see in a relaxed state (the deeper the better). They often pass by in a matter of seconds.
The mental images does not seem as sensitive to relaxation as the astral ones. They can be seen as firm images and observed for a longer period of time, a minute or more. They can also be planted above your normal vision with eyes open. The images can have a richness in colour and details that can’t be seen in the normal physical life. Even here it's normally a question of symbols, connected to the persons spiritual development.
